Dr. Mareeni Stanislaus
Dr. Mareeni Stanislaus has dedicated her career to creating a compassionate practice where women feel heard and respected. One of the first female OB-GYNs to serve California’s Central Coast, she has been caring for the community since 1996. Her holistic approach to women’s health allows her to address her patients’ concerns in the context of their whole lives, building lasting relationships that span generations: She is now proudly delivering the babies of women she delivered early in her career.
Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Dr. Stanislaus studied in London and Honolulu, and graduated from Punahou High School. She earned dual undergraduate degrees from Stanford University, attended medical school at UC San Diego, and completed her internship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of AmSpa and the California Medical Association.
In 2022, Dr. Stanislaus was honored as Physician of the Year for the Central Coast, a testament to her exceptional care and dedication to her patients.
Dr. Stanislaus operates out of Adventist Health Twin Cities Hospital, Sierra Vista Hospital, and French Hospital in San Luis Obispo.

Christine Jacobson, PA-C
Christine grew up in Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology in 2017. She then obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies as part of the first graduating class of A.T. Still University- Central Coast’s Physician Assistant program in 2023. While in school, she discovered her passion for women’s health. She has always been drawn to the creative side aesthetics has to offer, so when she found she could practice both areas of medicine with Dr. Stanislaus, she knew it would be a great fit!

Stephanie Carr, Registered Nurse
With over 12 years of nursing experience, Stephanie brings both medical expertise and a genuine passion for wellness to Serendip Medspa. While she splits her time between us and the emergency department at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, she approaches aesthetic care with the same calm, compassionate presence she brings to every patient interaction.
Known for her warm demeanor and thoughtful approach, Stephanie believes aesthetic treatments like Botox and other non-invasive options can do more than enhance appearance—they can help clients feel more confident and empowered in their daily lives. She enjoys partnering with each person to help them achieve their goals, whether it’s softening fine lines, preventing future signs of aging, or simply feeling refreshed.
Stephanie holds a B.S. from San Diego State University and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Kaplan College. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking along the Central Coast and spending time with her family, always finding joy in the balance of caring for others and caring for herself.

Jessica Cochran, Operations Manager
Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, Jessica Cochran brings over 13 years of hands-on experience in medical office management, operations, and patient care. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for compassion, professionalism, and creating environments where clients feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Jessica joined Serendip Medspa as a natural next step in her career and a place where her love of helping people can shine even brighter. She’s always believed that when someone feels confident in their own skin, their internal beauty radiates outward. That philosophy is what drew her to aesthetics: the chance to help clients feel better about themselves, embrace self-care, and let their confidence glow.
She is excited to partner with Dr. Stanislaus, whose stellar reputation and patient-first approach deeply resonate with her own values. Jessica looks forward to helping shape and grow this new medspa practice, bringing her expertise in operations, her calm leadership style, and her commitment to creating an exceptional client experience.
Outside of work, Jessica is happiest outdoors, hiking, exploring, enjoying live music, or spending time with her friends and family. With seven nieces and nephews, she’s a devoted aunt and a joyful presence in their lives.

Susan Tognazzini, Aesthetician
With over 30 years of experience in medical aesthetics, Susan Tognazzini brings both depth and heart to everything she does. A licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, Susan has dedicated her career to helping patients feel confident in their skin. She’s also licensed to remove tattoos, allowing her to perform a broader range of advanced facial treatments, including medical and corrective procedures.
A Central Coast native, Susan spent more than two decades working alongside Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Ke Ping Tsao, where she became a trusted figure in surgical skin care. She also served as a board member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists, where she found purpose through the Philanthropy Committee, especially in helping burn survivors regain their confidence through camouflage makeup.
When Dr. Tsao retired, Susan began a new chapter with Dr. Stanislaus, where she’s been delivering compassionate, expert care to patients for the last eight years. Always curious and committed to excellence, Susan continues to stay on the cutting edge of medical aesthetics—studying new techniques, technologies, and treatments to ensure her patients receive the very best.
Cathleen Martin, Aesthetician
Born and raised in the Central Valley, Cathleen has called the Central Coast home for the past 18 years. With a lifelong career in the medical field—primarily as a phlebotomist—she’s always had a deep passion for helping people feel their best.
Three years ago, she made the leap into aesthetics after developing a personal interest in the field, sparked by her own struggle with adult acne at 32. What started as a curiosity quickly became a calling: a way to blend her clinical background with her love of connection and transformation.
Whether helping someone solve a skin concern or achieve a beauty goal, Cathleen brings empathy, skill, and a results-oriented mindset to every appointment. She meets clients where they are in their journey and walks alongside them, listening to their stories, offering honest guidance, and celebrating their growth.
When she’s not in the treatment room, she’s spending time with her three amazing kids, enjoying watching them grow academically, athletically, and socially.
Stephanie Mireles, Receptionist
Stephanie is a Paso Robles native with a passion for beauty, wellness, and creating meaningful client experiences. She brings a thoughtful, fast-paced energy to her role, balancing behind-the-scenes precision with a warm, welcoming presence.
With a background in traditional relaxation spas and high-end boutique environments, Stephanie believes self-care should be intentional, informed, and beautifully executed. She’s especially interested in the science behind modern aesthetics—researching products, technologies, and advanced treatments that help address ongoing concerns through innovation and care.
At Serendip, Stephanie supports daily operations and ensures every detail contributes to a seamless, elevated experience. She believes clients often arrive feeling vulnerable and is deeply committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and trustworthy environment—particularly for women’s health and personal services.
Drawn to Serendip through word-of-mouth, Stephanie loves the collaborative culture and enjoys contributing creative ideas for events, consultations, and brand awareness. Outside the medspa, she also models for brand and creative photo shoots and, as a country girl at heart, enjoys the outdoors, traveling the coast, and spending time with her two dogs, Aurora and Finney.

The Stanislaus Integrative Wellness Center is a dream come true for Dr. Mareeni Stanislaus. Her vision was to open a state-of-the-art women’s health facility in San Luis Obispo County that would reflect her vision of cutting-edge technology delivered in an atmosphere of safety, privacy, and comfort.
